Description :Ref: FR-5, Hgw2372.4, EPGC204
1. COMPOSITION AND PRESENTATIONFR5 is a stratified insulator made from fibre glass fabric and epoxy resin.
It is similar as G11, but with flammability FV0.
2. PROPERTIES- Very low hygrometric susceptibility
- Small losses at high frequency
- Excellent mechanical properties when cold
- Good dielectric properties
- Workable while cold up to 3mm. Thickness
- Fire resistance FV0
- Very good resistance to the formation of conductive prints
- Fewer losses of mechanical properties than the type 3240 when work at 155 degree)
3. APPLICATIONS.Very convenient for equipment on high frequencies and generally for all elements having to bear strong dynamic stresses with good resistance to fatigue. Can be used at fairly high temperatures ( more than 155 degree )
