Rosin pentaerythritol ester is a light-colored pentaerythritol rosin ester of stabilized gum rosin by hydrogenation. It is used as a tackifier in adhesives industry. It provides excellent heat and aging stability, improved resistance to oxidation, polymer compatibility, good skinning resistance and better retention of color. Mainly used in hot melt adhesives and pressure sensitive adhesives.

| Properties: | Soluble in coal tar, esters and turpentine; soluble in alcoholic solvents; partially soluble in petroleum solvents; mixed well with vegetable oils. Light color, good resistance to yellowing, good heat stability and high adhesion. |
| Applications: | Mp-955 and MP-958 polymerized by cooking with vegetable oils can be used for rosin ester phenolic paints; widely used in adhesive industry to improve the adhesion and reduce the cost for hot-melt, pressure-sensitive and other adhesives. |
