Drying is important before briquetting process. To get the superior quality of biomass briquettes with high density, it is necessary to control the moisture of material at 8-12% exactly. The selection of drying plant models depends on the original moisture content of raw materials. The moisture of wet materials is at 20-60%. The wood dryer is equipped one fuel boiler, inlet, steel pipe, exhaust blower (fan), cyclone. Wet materials are input into the hopper. And then hot air is flowing and going though the curving pipes and buffer (drying chamber) of dryer, thus wet materials is finished to dry, and the dried materials are expelled out by the exhaust blower (fan). This wood dryer reduces the moisture to 8-12% with the advantages of lower cost consumption and high efficiency.
