Heat Stability: Meta-aramid has very good heat stability. It won't melt when placed in high temperature for long. Is mechanical strength can remain 75% after 1000h in 200° C dry condition and more than 60% in wet.
FR performance: Meta-aramid is inhernt falme retardant fiber and its LOI≥ 28%. SO it won't burn, melt or has droplets in the air.
Electrical Insulation: Meta-aramid has excellent electrical insulation and the paper made of meta-aramid could reach H insulation level and widely used in the products like high class transfomers, electrical appliances insulation and mine electric motors.
Chemical Stability: Meta-aramid can bear most of the chemicals and most strong inorganic acids and perform well for alkali in normal temperature.
Mechanical Properties: Meta-aramid fiber can be processed by regular textile machines for its low rigidity and high tenacity. Staple fiber can be processed into kinds of textiles and non-woven fabrics by regular cotton machines and filament fiber can be kinds of pure or blend fabrics by regular fiament fiber machines.
Radiation Resistance: Meta-aramid perform good radiation resistance to α Rays, β Rays and Ultraviolet rays, i. e.: The strength still keeps the same even β Ray radiation quantity comes to 1000 Mrads
