MTC manufactures truck bodies to customer order from its wide range of panel types. Bodies can be supplied either fully built or in CKD form for export and assembly by the customer. Body types available include:· Dry freight (FRP/GRP with Plywood or Honeycomb core)· Refrigerated (temperature controlled) (FRP/GRP with PU or XPS core) MTC uses its own body construction system that utilises custom made aluminium extrusions to join body panels at the corners/edges of the body. MTC has developed this system over many years and it has the following advantages: 1) Appearance: Each body section (walls, floor or roof) is one panel made to exact size. This provides a very smooth and glossy surface that is completely flat and without any joints. This surface is ideal for the application of decals or advertising and provides the end user with a high quality appearance that enhances their brand image. 2) Resistance to Damage: The smooth FRP/GRP surface inside and outside is very resistant to damage in normal use. Panels have high impact resistance and strength and can withstand impact from cargo and trees. The truck body will keep looking good for longer. 3) Easy to Repair: In the event of serious but small panel damage, repairs can be easily done to the fiberglass panels without disassembling the body. In the event of major panel damage, the special MTC body construction system makes it easy to remove and replace a complete panel quickly, thus keeping the truck on the road making money. 4) Corrosion Resistance: Due to the body panels being made of FRP/GRP and the body frame being aluminium, the MTC body is highly resistant to corrosion from salt, humidity, heat, cold and environmental pollution. Pre-coloured panels overcome the need to repaint for a long time, while the overall construction and design make washing and cleaning the body easy. 5) UV and Weather Resistance: The construction materials and the fact that all panels are one piece with no joins mean that the bodies are very waterproof while the glossy finish reflects heat in hot weather to protect cargo. Special FRP/GRP formulations have good UV resistance to prevent yellowing over time. 6) Easy Assembly: The MTC body system allows CKD body kits to be assembled quickly and easily with little training and no special tools, thus keeping body costs down.

MTC (Yangzhou Maxi-CUBE Tong Composite Co., Ltd. ) has been manufacturing composite panels since 1996 and is 80% owned by Australia's largest road transport trailer manufacturer, MaxiTRANS Industries Ltd (www.maxitrans.com). It was the first company to start producing fiberglass composites in China and remains China's largest manufacturer of such products and a major supplier of truck bodies to many leading companies including China Post.
In December 2013, MTC relocated to an all new and larger factory in the Weiyang Development Zone, Yangzhou. The new plant covers an area of over 53, 000 square meters, of which the current building area is 18, 000 square meters. Current production capacity is 600, 000 square meters of composite panels.
MTC's new factory incorporates advanced equipment and technology from America, Australia and Sweden for the production of refrigerated and insulated composite panels as well as dry freight composite panels. It mainly uses fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP/GRP) as the product surfaces combined with a choice of polyurethane foam, XPS foam, waterproof phenolic plywood and plastic honeycomb panels as the core - all bonded using processes developed by MTC since 1996.
MTC also has the capacity to manufacture composite panels using full size aluminum and stainless steel sheet as surface sheets and can produce coloured composite panels in accordance with customers' requirements. The internationally patented manufacturing technology produces panels with high structural strength, good sealing performance and easy installation.
Being China's largest producer of FRP/GRP panels and also a significant exporter, MTC is naturally certified to quality standard ISO9001: 2008. Quality control is a major focus of our complete operation, with four quality supervisors and 22 engineers and managers out of 130 employees. Being Australian owned, MTC is very familiar with the quality standards demanded by export customers.
To date more than 100 truck body builders from over 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China have utilised MTC composite panels to build high-grade dry freight truck bodies, refrigerated and insulated truck bodies and special vehicles. MTC's coloured composite truck body panels can be seen across China in large fleets such as China Post (green), SF (black) and Deppon Express (blue). In fact, China Post has over 10, 000 truck bodies manufactured by MTC. Additionally, our products have been exported to more than 20 countries and regions such as Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, America, England, France, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.
