Indications:

Intramuscular Use: allergic states dermatologic diseases, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal diseases hematologic disordres and miscellaneous. 

Intra-articular Use: adjunctive therapy for short-term administration in acute gouty arthritis, acute and subacute bursitis.

Each mL of the sterile aqueous suspension provides 10 mg triamcinolone acetonide, with sodium chloride for isotonicity, 0.9% (w/v) benzyl alcohol as a preservative, 0.75% carboxymethylcellulose sodium, and 0.04% polysorbate 80; sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid may have been added to adjust pH between 5.0 and 7.5. At the time of manufacture, the air in the container is replaced by nitrogen.


What are the possible side effects of triamcinolone injection?
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:
fast, slow, or uneven heart rate;
feeling short of breath, even with mild exertion;
swelling, rapid weight gain;
dangerously high blood pressure (severe headache, buzzing in your ears, anxiety, confusion, chest pain);
problems with your vision;
