What is aluminum foam?
Aluminum foam is a new concept material which is foamed in sponge shaped after melting aluminum ingot with various chemical ingredients and has many bubble layers inner structure.
Porous material is much lighter than original one, which is the characteristics of porous structure. And it improves the ability of energy absorption and reduces the ability of thermal and electrical conductibility than original metal material. In addition, porous material has wide applications as well as excellent ability of sound absorption and permeability of liquid,air, etc
Aluminum foam, a metal itself, can be applied to aerospace aviation required the thermostability over 2000 ºC. It is 100% recyclable eco-friendly material and absolutely will not produce harmful substances no matter in the process of producing, using or abandoning.
