Combination LED precision spectroscopy is the driving force behind the S1 spectrophotometer. The instrument separates light based on differing wavelength intervals and conducts highly sensitive analysis using various groups of sensor arrays.
 
An S1 spectrophotometer designed to achieve accuracy is extremely sensitive to all colors. It measures the L*ab and the data E values accurately, as well as displays the spectral reflectance curve. The spectral reflectance curve calculates the actual parameters of different color formulas to enable color matching functions.

Vteke meticulously measured color samples, ranging from dark to light, white to black and other International Standardization Organization (ISO) color boards as part of the R&D stage. All parameters of the S1 test results were then integrated with international standards.
 
To do so, Vteke analyzed the spectrophotometer parameters from Germany, Japan and the United States. Results showed that L*ab absolute value differences between them are within ±1.5. The comparative L*ab values between S1 and the Japanese spectrophotometer, when measuring any colored objects, has a difference within 1.0. With such carefully tested parameters, the S1 is a compatible instrument across the global market.
