AC contactor is widely used to open, break and control the circuit in the power system. It uses the main contact to open or close the circuit, and the auxiliary contact to execute the control orders. The main contact usually has only the normal-opened contact, while the auxiliary contact often has two pairs of normal opened or closed contacts. Small contactor is always used as intermediary relay in the main circuit.
