Activated Alumina Powder as Anchoring Agent
Introduction:
Activated Alumina powder also can name asρ- Alumina powder, because its crystal type is ρ. Its main crystal phase isρalumina matrix. We adopt the method of Aluminum Hydroxide suspension roasting, then rapid dehydration and rapid cooling to get the ρAlumina. Its specific surface area is above 200/g, so it has stronger activity and water adsorption, and certain hydration activity.
Application:
1) It can substitute Calcium aluminate cement as anchoring agent used in high-grade unshaped refractory castable, it also can substitute Silicon powder and ultrafine aluminum oxide powder as adhesive and anchoring agent in high-grade corundum products;
2) It can be used as Adsorption, water adsorption and fired into active alumina ball / bar, widely used in Petroleum, chemical, medicine, sanitation or other industries.
