Product Description

As one of the important part of car,the automobile rubber seal strip has been widely used in the car door, window, body, seat, engine case, trunk and other parts. Its function is waterproof, sealing, soundproof, anti-dust, cool resistance, shock absorption, warm and energy saving. So the strong tensile strength and good flexibilityis much needed, and also the good temperature resistance and aging resistance.
    In order to ensure the strips and section bar fasten well, the sectional structure of the strips must fit for the section bar.
    Types and characters of the automobile rubber seal strip are as following:
1. It can be classified to the following types according to the installation position: engine hood seal strip, side window sealing strip, sunroof sealing strip, primary door seal strip, glass run channel seal strip, inner and outer waist line seal strip, trunk seal strip, anti-noise seal strip, anti-dust seal strip, etc.
2. If classify the products due to the sectional structure, there are three kinds of strips: solid core products (round, square and flat shape section products), hollow article and metal with rubber compound products, etc.
 Wherein, 60% products are the metal rubber compound products. It is very important for the rubber strip is its design of the sectional structure.
Firstly, the sealing lip shape and size design: to reach the window glass, the two sealing lips must take same and proper power from the two sides of car window glasses. The length and thickness of the sealing lip must be proper, it will make the glass lift resistance increase if it is longer and thicker, on thecontrary, if the lip is thinner and shorter, it will lead the vibration, leakage ofrain and noise.
Secondly, it is the section shape of the bottom and its size design, there is a projection on the window steel groove section, it is for assembling groove. So, what the perfect bottom structure of section groove is that both of the rubber can be assembled easily and also ensure the rubber seal adhere to the steel groove.For the rubber seal it self has good flexibility, so the perfect bottom structure and prevent the seal falling off. 
At last, about the shape and size of the outside edge, the exterior facing of guide groove should joint the car body tightly to improve the outside surface.
3. There exist two series of rubber seal if classify this according to the character of the sealing, one is weatherstrip, other is ordinary sealing. Wherein, the weatherstrip has the function of keeping warm and moisture owing to its inside hollow sponge tube.
4. Classify by the rubber composite structure, we can know four types of rubber seal, first one is pure rubber seal, the second is two materials compound rubber seal, the third is three kinds of materials compound seal, the fourth is four types raw materials form the seal.
The following is the specifications of each types of seal.
As it seems to be, the pure rubber seal is that this item can produce only one kind of rubber, the second is like this, solid rubber and foam sponge constitute the rubber seal, and as usual, the metal skeleton is stick to the inner solid rubber, but the skeleton has to be put on the direction of the inner axis.
Two types solid rubber (one is light color) and sponge rubber can form the third kind of rubber seal, usually, the metal skeleton and strong fiber are inside the solid rubber.
As to the last rubber seal, our company firstly develop and produce the four raw materials forming rubber seal, its character is, one layer of the thin protection rubber is filled outside the sponge rubber, with this, the using life of the rubber seal has become longer than before.
5.Classify by the material type, it can be divided into three kinds of seal, the rubber seal strip; plastic seal strip, Thermo plastic Elastomer seal strip.
6.According to the surface treatment, there are flocking sealing strip, surface coating seal strip, fabric sticker seal strip
 7.Special function seal: some of the seal has the function of intelligent electronic, such as the  clamping prevention seal.
With the advantages of well flexibility, anti compression deformation, agingresistance, ozone resistance, chemistry, wide using temperature (from -40ºCto+120ºC), the foam EPDM and solid rubber has become the main raw material of the automobile rubber seal strip. Inside this seal, there are specialmetal fixture and tongue stud inside the seal, it is solid and easy to assemble.
The suggestion of the usage temperature is as following:
PVC: -20 °F - 150 °F (-29ºC - 65.5ºC)
EPDM:-40 °F - 248 °F (-40ºC - 120ºC)
Besides, the material of the inner metal fixture is steel wire or steel disc.
