Application
The purpose of this specification is to provide a procedure for determining the noise level(s) of sound producing toys and to provide specifications for sound producing Hasbro Inc. Products that minimize the potential for possible hearing damage and/or hearing loss to children while interacting with such toys to a degree that is considered non-hazardous according to the guidelines adopted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In addition, compliance with the requirements of this specification will ensure conformance with ASTM F963, EN71, and the Canadian regulations.
