CAST IRON WELDING ELECTRODE Z308 (AWS ENi-C1, GB EZNi-1)
Description
Z308 is a pure nickel welding core, strong reducibility of graphite type coated cast iron electrode, when welding, weldments don't need to be preheated, with good crack resistance and processability. Nickel is expensive, should be chosen in other rods cannot be met. AC/DC.
Application
used for repairing thin pieces of cast iron welding and machining surfaces, such as engine blocks, machine guides, gear housing and other important gray cast iron.

Notes:
1. Electrodes shall be baked about 150 ºC for 1h before welding
2. You can eliminate welding stress by hammering the weld area, to avoid cracks.
