Applications: 1.2080 is mainly used to substitute the widely used valuable die steel such as Cr12MOV, Cr12 and O1 and manufacture the back plates of the precise dies, silica gel dies, keyboard dies, plastic crushing blades, precise gauges, etc...It can also be used to substitute O1 to make the long-life movable printing steel plate, etc.
Features:
1.2080 is a new generation of economical cold-work die steel which is developed by optimizing and improving the chemical bassed on the 430 series of high-carbon high-chromium cold- work tool steel in the ASTM standard. It mainly meets the demands of the market for precise dies and accessories of medium service life. XFD3M features a small heat treatment deformation and high wear resistance(close to D3). The toughness of the steel is superior to D3 steel. The hardness can reach 58-64 HRC after heat treatment and can be used for the back plates of tools and dies, gauges and cutters.
