Yortay Fine Chemical Chameleon Pigments
Yortay chameleon pigments create innovative optical effect through glass substrates modifies silicone based molecules.
Interference effect for some spectral group in incident light is reflected,and other components can pass through. Material does not absorb visible light.
Background (i.e.the appearance colors) can perform strong color changes to the short wavelength direction with narrowing angle of observation (color fall).
Yortay flip colors are transparent in the whole visible spectral region. The product was flaky particles, when applied to black base, it will produce the best multicolor effect. When applied to a light colored base, olor effect will be greatly improved if a small amount of clear and dark color pigments are added as substrate.

Application
Because of its easy operation characteristics and attractive multi color effect,
Yortay pearlescent pigments are applied very widely in the industry. In order to show the best color effects, transparent binder and other components are recommended to choose.
Yortay color changing pearls can be used in paint, coating, printing ink and plastic industries. If mixing with other transparent pigment,special effects can then performed. Their transparency will produce a novel 3D color system in plastics.

Storage stability
If stored in a origianl sealed container and the ambient temperature between 0 degree to 35 degree, the shelf life will be at least 24 months.
If the product shelflife is overdu, it does not mean that the material are definitely useless, you just need to test on material properties.
Processing technology
Yortay chameleon colors can be used for most water based and solvent based paint,printing ink (transparent is preferred), powder coatings and plastics.
If opaque adhesives and plastics are used or transparent medium with astigmatism additive, the color changing effect will be decreased. In a binder or plastic, Yortay chameleon pigments usually parallely distribute in the surface coating.
Coloring the plastics with Yortay chameleon colors on, we suggest adding 0.02% carbon black, which can significantly improve the effect of pearls.
Yortay chameleon colors can be used for all kinds of plastic processing below 300 degree temperature.
Yortay chameleon pigments is compliance with European safety standards EN71, third parts for toys for children, and can meet with food contact requirements (BGVV IX-3) on the pigment purity.
For exterior coating application, we recommend the use of light stabilizer, mainly the ultraviolet absorbent, such as benzene and three triazole compounds. For the transparent Surface coating system , we recommend the use of 2.5% UV absorber in the bottom coating, or use l% opticalcoatings in the ultraviolet absorbent on the cover.
The Usage of Yotay color shift in a variety of applications system (mass fraction) 0.5-2% in plastic, 3-5% in paint, 10-15% printing ink. When chameleon pearl powder are Used in screen printing, the screen mesh size must be between 75micron and 200micron.
