It is an easy-care plant, keep it from direct sunlight, it prefer bright light but not direct sunlight, they will perform well under artificial lighting. Too little light will lead to weak growth, stretching and poor coloration.
Too much direct sunlight or salty or heavily-flourided water will make the leaves yellow, water only with filtered or natural spring water. New stalks can be propagated from the original plant by using a sharp knife to cut through a stalk - just below the joint. Place the cutting in fresh, clean water. A fine mist spray to stalks is sometimes suggested to stimulate new bud growth.
