DESCRIPTION AND USE
specially formulated nitrite-based scale and corrosion inhibitor designed for use in closed systems containing steel, iron, yellow metals and/or aluminum. It is effective in controlling corrosion over a wide range of conditions. It has been successfully applied in systems using demineralized, softened or hard water makeup.
TREATMENT AND FEEDING REQUIREMENTS
Typically the closed cooling water should be maintained at a high pH with this inhibitor. Proper treatment levels for OL2000 depend on several factors such as the corrosion potential and conditions particular to a given installation. The product should be used in accordance with control procedures that establishes for a specific application.
