Launching action:
While the boat is in its stowed position, connect FPDS correctly by the following step.
1. Connect one end of FPDs to the first conencting link or block swivel using 6.5Tons shackle.
2. Connect the other end of FPDs to the hanging-off point on the hook.
Continue to launch lifeboat to water, ensure to remove FPDs before releasing the hook.
Recovery action
Manoeuver the boat into position below fall and put the main lifting link into the hook. Before hoisting the boat, the FPDs must be rigged by:

Remove the FPDs when boat is in its stowed position.
