Principle of operation
The TH-2011 γ-ray Level Gauge is a continuous level nuclear gauge.The gauge receives a shaped or collimated beam of radiation from the source holder through the process material.The material in the vessel acts as a shield that prevents a portion of the detector from exposure to the radiation field.As the process material level decreases, the detector senses more radiation.As the process material level increases, the detector senses less radiation.Calibration of the level gauge associates the detector readings, known as counts, with the level of the material in engineering units.The output range of the gauge is a 4-20mA current loop signal, in proportion to the level of the process.
Typical applications
The level gauges accurately indicate the level of liquids or bulk materials in vessels, eactors, or tanks.
In order to achieve a level indication over the desired length, it may be necessary to use more than one detector.

The TH-2011 γ-ray level gauges especially used as a non-contact, level measurement transmitter for containers (mixers, reactors, hoppers, silos, tanks) e.G.With the material and liquids which has the characteristic of high temperature, pressure, viscosity, corrosion and severe toxicity.
TH-2011 can detect the interface between liquids(solids) in a vessel, when the liquids(solids) differ in height.

The Res. Inst of Chem. Mach of the Ministry of Chemical Industry was founded in Beijing in 1958, and moved to Lanzhou in 1965.
