Glycerol: Gas chromatography fixed fluid, dissolvent, shock reducer for gas gauze and hydraulic press, softener, antifreeze, nutrition for ferment of antibiotics, dryer, etc.
Glycerol can absorb water, hydrothion, hydrogen cyanide and sulfur dioxide. Stocked under 0ºC, it can shape glossy rhomboidal with 17.8ºC melting point. Mixed with chromium trioxide, potassium chlorate, potassium permanganate and other strong oxidizer, it will combust and bomb. Glycerol is non-poisonous.
