Light Calcium Carbonate (chemical formula: CaCO3; alternate name: Precipitated Calcium Carbonate), obtained through chemical synthesis, is widely applied in such industries as plastics, rubber and papermaking with its advantages of high purity, high whiteness, small grain size, narrow particle size distribution, low viscosity, low wear value, high anti-aging temperature and low arsenic content, etc. It can provide high filling level, lower the production cost, boost tensile strength and increase whiteness, which can especially greatly improve the opacity and whiteness of paper in papermaking industry, thus greatly enhancing the market competitiveness of product.

Small Grain Size

Light Calcium Carbonate adopts high-quality limestone as the raw material, which is obtained after strict screening. Excellent Filling Performance
Light Calcium Carbonate has good crystalline form and is well-distributed. When being used in plastic filling, it can be evenly dispersed in the organic macromolecule system and converge well with the organic macromolecule system, which provides excellent filling. When being used for filling in papermaking industry, it can combine well with fibers, fill in the fiber inter-space and thus enhance the opacity and whiteness of paper. In cigarette paper, burning speed of cigarette can be effectively controlled by adding its filling proportion.
