Introduction
HTR Series High-Voltage thermal resistor (brief in HTR hereinafter) is suitable for large-capacity high-voltage AC squirrel-cage asynchronous motors or high-voltage synchronous motors with asynchronous starting voltage reduction.
This device assures that motor's starting current is low and constant, torque increases gradually, and the process of starting has no current impact and mechanical shock, little impact on the electricity grid, and no electromagnetic interference.
HTR is an ideal alternative of starting reactor and autotransformer starter products. Compared to the large capacity high-voltage frequency soft starter, it is also has advantages of simple operation, maintenance-free, non-harmonic pollution and others.
HTR is widely used for soft start of high voltage motor in voltage level of 3KV, 6KV, 10kV, and power level of 250kW to 45000kW or even greater capacity.
The device uses five patent technologies which is the most advanced in same type of products in home.

Performance features
According to product performance and the different configuration plan, we divide HTR into HTR3, HTR4, HTR6 three series to meet the needs of different users. See Table 1 to know about specific performance characteristics, in accordance with user requirements it can be adjusted accordingly.
HTR3, HTR4, HTR6 series all have the following basic characteristics:
1) Constant current and soft start: starting current is 2.0 to 3.5 times of rated current. Reduce the heat generated when starting, and effectively extend motor life;
2) Guarantee successful start for once, free from grid voltage fluctuations and the influence of changes of load;
3) Start smoothly, no impact on the mechanical equipment;
4) Little impact on power grid, low voltage drop of power grid;
5) Starting with high power factor;
6) Non-harmonic pollution;
7) Static resistance start, safe and reliable;
8) Simple operation, maintenance-free
HTR3 series are standard designed, with performance characteristics that constant and low motor starting current, low voltage drop, high power factor at the start, no harmonic pollution, simple, safe and reliable.
HTR4 series are resistance adaptive soft start device, using PLC intelligent control to automatically detect and automatically adjust initial resistance value, in order to ensure start characteristics consistency under different circumstances.
HTR6 series are completely sealed, intelligent, high-reliability, long-life designed, and has the following unique properties:
1) Environmental adaptability: it can adapt to cold, high humidity, high elevation, corrosion gas and harsh circumstances;
2) A friendly man-machine interface: it can be easily observed, operated and recorded;
3) PLC intelligent control: according to the practical environment condition to adjust starting time, and parameters such as resistance values, in order to ensure the stability of starting performance;
4) A communications interface: it can bring about long-distance communications and computer centralized control;
5) Real-time starting current and voltage curve print (related to user's equipment support);
6) Automatic monitoring of the state of various parameters, and can be uploaded and printed;
7) With automatic fault detection, automatic alarm and comprehensive protection;
8) Completely sealed, maintenance-free and service life more than 30 years.
