As your control and muscle tone improves you can:
1) Increase the number of repetitions
2) Hold contractions longer
3) Increase the pressure in the sensor (for instance if you usually pump the pressure in the sensor to 100, try to increase it to 150 and see if that makes the squeezes more challenging. Although the actual work or muscle performance from 100 to 130 and 150 to 180 is the same, an increased pressure stretches the muscle a little bit more and makes the contractions more challenging. This is similar to working with weights for your arms. If you hold a 20 pound weight with one arm it will be harder to lift the same weight when the arm is lowered all the way.
Measuring Your Progress
Please note that measurement is more precise with the larger sensor, even if the smaller sensor is the one you prefer for exercises. Keep the largest sensor that feels comfortable at 0(do not inflate at all with the pump) and squeeze as hard as you can.
The best measure for progress is your own personal history. If you couldn't move the needle at all or just barely when you started, a reading of 15 or 20 might be a strong reading for you because everybody's physique is different.
The more you can move your needle on your best contraction the more your strength improves. So if you start out at 5and you can move the needle by 20units after 6 weeks, your muscle strength has improved 4 fold.
The amount of time you can hold your contractions, i.e. if you do 15 reps of roughly 3 seconds each you did 45 second.
The guide below can be used as a rough gauge for your strength and endurance. It should only be used after control is established - while you are still learning how to control your pelvic floor muscle, the strength and endurance cannot be evaluated effectively.

Contra Indications
When should the KM516 not be used?
1, Do not use for treatment of Reflex Incontinence or Overflow Incontinence.
2, Do not use the KM516 during lochia or 4-6weeks ager childbirth.
3, Do not use the KM516 when suffering from grade III descensus or cystocele.
Warnings
Do not share the KM516 with another person. This product is intended for one woman. If you exercise twice a day and symptoms do not seem to get better, see a doctor. Do not use the KM516 without lubrication condom. Always clean the sensor top before and after exercising. Do not use alcohol to disinfect. Use soap and hot water instead or briefly put the sensor top into boiling water.
