Applying: Used as raw material for extracting RE metals and for
Extracting Lanthanum or as catalyst in oil cracking.
Lanthanum Chloride is an excellent water soluble crystalline Lanthanum source for uses compatible with chlorides. Chloride compounds can conduct electricity when fused or dissolved in water. Chloride materials can be decomposed by electrolysis to chlorine gas and the metal. They are formed through various chlorination processes whereby at least one chlorine anion (Cl-) is covalently bonded to the relevant metal or cation. Ultra high purity and proprietary formulations can be prepared. The chloride ion controls fluid equilibrium and pH levels in metabolic systems.
Lanthanum is used in cracking catalysts, advanced ceramics and in green phosphors. Lanthanide zirconates and lanthanum strontium manganites are used for their catalytic and conductivity properties. Lanthanum's ability to bind with phosphates in water creates uses in water treatment. Lanthanum Chloride is generally immediately available in most volumes. Ultra high purity and high purity compositions improve both optical quality and usefulness as scientific standards. Nanoscale elemental powders and suspensions, as alternative high surface area forms, may be considered.
