Lead Industrial Electric Arc Furnace is also called as resistance arc furnace. Its electrode is inserted into solid material (such as concentrate ore or raw ore) or liquid molten mass. It melts the furnace materials by the micro arc heat came out between the electrode and furnace material, as well as the resistance heat of the molten mass. (When the voltage is high, furnace materials are mainly melted by arc heat. So it also called as Arc Melting Furnace).
