The Smart TV Card is the next development in mobile entertainment. You can now watch your favourite TV programmes through your laptop. Simply insert it into the PCMCIA port on your laptop and you are ready to experience its mesmerising capabilities including multi-channel preview, real time recording and TimeShift playback. It incorporates MPEG 2 and MPEG 4 (DIVX & XViD) software encoders to enable high quality recordings of your favourite programmes direct to your hard drive. You can even play your PS2/xBox console or DVD/VHS players through this TV Card, and record or capture them to digital video on your hard drive.
This item is supplied with all the items needed to watch live TV on your laptop. A portable antenna is included for use in high signal areas, in other areas it is advised that an outdoor antenna be used for improved performance.
