Piperonyl Butoxide is the best potentiater of the pyrethroid, which was confirmed by the public in international. It is the only potentiater permitted to be used on the cultivation of corps and cotton by the United Nation Food and Agricultural organization. When piperonyl butoxide is added to the insecticide, it enhances the potency of the insecticide so that less insecticide need to be applied, hence costs are reduced.
Other advantages of the application of the piperonyl butoxide and insecticide mixture is increase in the duration of the effective period. It is an ideal additive for insecticide which are widely used for pest control in the cultivation of crops, cotton, domestic, and green food, vegetables, fruit, tea, etc.
