Action: Pentaglycerol fatty acid ester is generally in the forms of solid, semisolid or sticky oily liquid, which have good heat resistance, viscosity and good hydrolysis resistance, as well as strong emulsifying performance. Moreover, it has wide HLB value, capable of decreasing the surface tension of water, thus enjoying such functions as dirt elimination, emulsification, dispersion, washing, humidification, infiltration, foaming, oxidization resistance, viscosity regulation, sterilization, aging resistance, static resistance etc. It is nontoxic and safe for use. Moreover, with good self-emulsifying performance, it can be used solely or with other emulsifying agents.
Use: It is used in the manufacture of pastries, margarine, ice cream as emulsification stabilizing agent for artificial dairy products, freshness-keeping agent for food and additive for antifat agents.
Storage: It should be stored in a dark, cool, dry warehouse, packed with kraft paper and polypropylene compound bags lined with thin membrane bags with the per-bag net capacity of 25 kg.
