Detailed Description
XLPE insulated power cable has excellent heat-mechanical electrical and chemical erosion resistant properties. Meanwhile its simple structure, light weight, convenient transmission and laying make it sure that the cable can be laid every where without limitation to difference of level.
Compared with paper insulated power cable, XLPE insulated power cable is more superior. Its bending radius is smaller, current-carring capacity is bigger. Besides, it is more simple to join the middle, and more easy to be produced and laid and cleaner. As a result XLPE insulated power cable is widely used in city electrical net, high building, over mountain. Petrochemical industry cable taking the place of paper insulated power cable.

It is designed for electricity transmission and distribution, at rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below.
Application Character
Maximum rated temperature of cable conductor is 90ºC
Maximum short-circuit temperature of cable conductor ≤ 250ºC
The temperature when laying cable ≥ 0ºC, The minimum bending diameter of cable is stipulated as follow:
For single-core cable: 20(D+d)±5% in millimeter.
For multi-core cable: 15(D+d)±5% in millimeter.
Where: D is the actual outer diameter of the cable
d is the actual outer diameter of the conductor.
Broken Strength of the cable
For Aluminum core cable: 4*S (N)
For Copper core cable: 7*S (N)
Where: S is the total cross-section area of the cable.
