The pre-breaker DS81 is especially designed for size reduction of complete carcasses of cattle, horses and pigs as well as all sorts of offal and bones from slaughterhouse, prior to the rending process in the animal by-products industry.
Doning the hard work
The DS81 is installed as the fist stage of rendering plant, always dong the hard work before curshers and mincers for final grinding if necessary. All knives and anvils are hard faced.
Low operation costs are assured as the motor size and breaker shaft speed can be adjusted to the required capacity.
The design allows quick maintenance and replacement of spare and wear parts, making the pre-breaker DS81 a very efficient machine.
Technical Description:
1. Low-speed breaker shaft ensures that the pre-breaker can handle metals in the raw material.
2. The units is prepared for electronic speed monitoring, which will instantaneously shut off the motor in case of large pieces of metal entering the pre-breaker.
3. The breaker shaft is fitted into heavy-duty cylindrical rollers, which can resist radial and axial impacts of up to 100 tons.
4. Transmission from mtor to breaker shaft is made of standardised component parts.
5. Breaker shaft main bearing houses are fitted into tapered guides, which allows quick maintenance and replacement of breaker shaft.
6. Sectional body construction allows replacement of parts within a short time.
7. Removable counter flanges fitted to the inlet and outlet are standard.
8. Inlet hopper and supports are made to measure upon request.
