Q : What are the differences among the formats?
A : The differences are as follows: DVD-R and DVD+R record data one time only, then the disc is only readable.DVD-RW, DVD+RW and DVD-RAM allow you to record and erase data multiple times.DVD-ROM only reads data; you cannot save to this disc.
Q : What does the plus and dash found in the format mean?
A : When DVD media technology was first developed, the plus and dash formats used different writing and reading specifications. Today, most DVD writers and readers now work with no noticeable performance differences between plus and dash formats. Check with your manufacturers' suggestion of DVD format for the best compatibility-especially in older technology.

Notice
Precautions:
1.Handle the disc with care to prevent scratches, fingerprints, dusts and dirt on the recorded side. Never touch the disc's recording furface or place it face down on a hard suface. Wipe off dusts, dirt, etc. using a soft dry piece of cloth. Do not use benzene, thinner, antistatic agents, record cleaners, etc.
2.Use an oil felt-tip pen to write on the title(printed) side of the disc. Do not use pens with hard tips such as ballpoints. Do not write in areas other than the title area nor paste labels on the disc.
3. Do not leave the disc in direct sunlight or in a hot, humid location. Keep the disc in its case after use. Be carerful not to drop it and do not bend the disc |
