The refined craftsmanship and fancy colors of thangkas, barbolas and sculptures enjoy great fame in the Southeast Asia, America and Germany, etc.
The Rebgong Thangkas are different from the low-quality thangkas which using synthetic paints instead of natural minerals. They are beautifully hand painted with precious ground pigments (such as lapis lazuli, turquoise, malachite, red soil, cinnabar, coral, safflower, medical herbs, etc. ) and gold leaf for a luminous quality.

The execution of a Rebgong Thangka painting can be divided into six steps: Preparation of the painting surface, Drawing, Application of Color, Shading and Color Gradations, Outlining, Finishing processing. A good Rebgong Thangka may take the artist a whole year to finish. And it takes the artists nearly 20 years of study, from the age of 5, to completely master the basic knowledge and skills handed down from their ancestors.

Farland Arts is dedicated to propagandize the Rebgong Art all over the world, especially the Rebgong Thangkas and Rebgong Barbolas. We observes the principle of presenting our clients with aesthetic and top-quality artworks.
