A compact and light-weight camcorder shoulder support compatible across DVCAM, HDV & XDCAM EX handheld and semi-shoulder camcorder ranges. The VCT-SP2BP provides excellent, three-point support - at the handle, shoulder, and chest - allowing comfortable 'hand-held' shooting for longer.
The VCT-SP2BP also features a unique collapsable design allowing tripod mounting within seconds. Using the supplied quick release adaptors and a VCT-U14 tripod adaptor the VCT-SP2BP gives you enhanced creative and operational flexibility during your shoot.
The VCT-SP2BP camcorder shoulder support is fully adjustable, allowing you to alter the length of the shoulder and chest braces depending on your body size and/or shooting style. The VCT-SP2BP is also off-set giving you the option of using either the Electronic Viewfinder or LCD Viewfinder depending upon your preference.
Accessories such as the HVR-MRC1K Memory recording unit or the battery adaptor for the HVL-LBPA LED light can be mounted at the rear of the support using a standard tripod screw. The VCT-SP2BP has been designed with the utmost flexibility in mind ensuring that it will suit your operational requirements whilst enhancing your creative options on any shoot.

The VCT-SP2BP is a camcorder support designed specially for use with Sony Digital HD Video Recorders. (Referred to below as "this unit")
Please read these operating instructions before use. After reading, keep them carefully for future reference.
This unit may not be compatible with all video cameras in your country or region.
Caution
Be very careful when opening and closing the shoulder pad, chest pad, casing S and casing C. There is a risk of catching your fingers. Do not hold this unit when the video camera is attached. The video camera may fall, leading to damage or injury.
Notes on Use A
To adjust this unit, place the shoulder pad firmly against your shoulder and back and alter the angle until the viewfinder and LCD screen are easy to see. (Illustration A-a)
The weight load is not supported if the shoulder pad is in the air.
When carrying the video camera while attached to this unit, make sure this unit is folded up correctly without overlapping as shown in illustrations A and B. (Illustration A-b)
When using this unit, hold the wide part of the chest pad flat against your chest so that the weight load is spread across your chest.
