Product Description
Seafood has perhaps the most diverse and complex microbiology of any food commodity. The range of habitats for edible species is also diverse. These habitats have a bearing on the types of microorganisms, toxins, parasites, chemicals, and other potential hazards that fish and shellfish may be exposed to that can affect human food safety.
Nankai Biotech Malachite Green (MG) Rapid Test Kit is a rapid, one step test for the qualitative (or quantitative) detection of Malachite Green residue in seafood and fish.

INTENDED USE
The Nankai Biotech Malachite Green Rapid Test Kit is used to qualitatively (or quantitatively) detect Malachite Green residue in seafood and fish tissues at the sensitivity of 2μg/kg(2ppb). The total assay time takes approx. 20 min.
TEST PROCEDURE
1. Remove Malachite Green Rapid Test from sealed pouch.
2. Suck at least 3 drops of prepared sample, hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 full drops to the specimen well (S) of the test , and then start the timer. (See the illustration below.)
3. Wait for red bands to appear, and then read results in approximately 5-8 minutes.
READING RESULTS
| NEGATIVE | The Test Line (T) is the same as or darker than the Control Line (C).
It is negative. |
| POSITIVE | The Test Line (T) is lighter than the Control Line (C), or there is no Test Line.
It is positive. |
| INVALID | INVALID: Reference Line fails to appear.
Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for an invalid result. Review the procedure and repeat the test with a new test Kit. Stop using the test kit immediately if the problem is not solved and contact your local distributor. |
STORAGE AND STABILITY
Store at room temperature. The shelf life is 12 months.
SPECIFICITY
There is no cross-reaction with Chloramphenicol, Tetracyclines, or Streptomycin and etc.
