Application:
C15 / 45M mainly used metallic paint, masonry paint, paper and film coatings, heat paint, printing inks, organic sol and a binder. Since the C15 / 45M contain carboxyl (-COOH), so the metal surface has excellent adhesion, it is the preferred resin printing inks and paint the metal surface cleaning.
performance:
C15 / 45M is a thermoplastic, physically drying after evaporation of the solvent contained in the formulation a film binder. Like all VC copolymers, C15 / 45M has excellent toughness, permanent flexibility, high abrasion resistance and low water-swellable and water when low gas permeability.
Chemical resistance:
Film from the C15 / 45M formed extremely excellent water resistance, salt water resistance, oil resistance, oil resistance, acid, alkali and salt solution; there are different degrees in aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent swelling,C15 / 45M is resistant to aliphatic hydrocarbons (mineral oil) and the ability to resistant to alcohols.

Solubility:
C15 / 45M available solvent or solvent mixture is dissolved. Ketones, esters and chlorinated hydrocarbons are C15 / 45M the most commonly used solvents. Ketones is a very good solvent vinyl chloride copolymers. Acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl isobutyl ketone and cyclohexanone solubility well. Esters, ketones dissolve inferior. Alcohols, aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbon solvent does not dissolve the surface coating resins.
compatibility:
1, C15 / 45M with all other surface coating resins and use, but also with many other resins miscible. Such as an acrylic resin, ketone resin and an epoxy resin portion. Hydroxy C15 / 45M so that the film-forming resin contained in the produced high flexibility. Plasticizer (external plasticization) can further improve their flexibility. Lipid soluble and have a certain compatibility with nitrocellulose. And alkyd resins, polyvinyl acetate resin and polyvinyl butyral resin incompatible. 2, C15 / 45M normally associated with pigments and fillers used in the paint industry has good compatibility. Basic pigment may cause strong thixotropic response. It is noteworthy that in paint applications, the use of iron, zinc and cadmium pigments should be careful with the danger faded, should be pre-tested.
