APPLICATIONS:
For butt and fillet welding stainless steels
CHARACTERISTICS:
1. TY-SJ601 is an agglomerated aluminate- fluoride basic welding flux.
2. Metallurgical behavior: There is minimal chromium loss in the deposited metal.
The behavior of silicon and manganese is neutral. With regard to the carbon content, the behavior is also neutral.
3. Basicity: 1.8 ( BIIW), Grain size: 10 to 60 mesh
4. Welded metal shows excellent crack resistance, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
Toughness of weld metal at -196 centigrade is satisfied.
5. Excellent weldability such as stable arc and easy slag removal. Good bead appearance, high welding efficiency in welding thin and ultra- thick plate.

Caution:
Damp flux should be re-dried at 300-350 centigrade for 2 hours. Rust,
Grease and moisture on the weldment should be removed before welding.
