Product Description
Product Features
- Two component modified thermal curable acrylic coating.
- Protects light metallic substrates such as aluminum alloys during machining, improving yield stress which reduces or avoids cracks or jagged edges. This includes cutting, drilling, and other machining processes with stacked multiple substrates. Also provides temporary protection against the 40 °C weak alkaline solutions used in precision machining.
- Due to the nature of the stacked substrates, UV light curing is ineffective as it cannot penetrate between the layers of substrates. Instead it is cured via thermal baking.
- Can be completely removed without residue via immersion in ≥ 85 °C water for 10 min under ultrasonic treatment after machining is completed. The protective film then automatically separates itself off the substrate. This makes it a more environmentally friendly method than other traditional temporary protective coating separation processes.

Operating Conditions
l Mix curing agent together before use.
l Apply the coating and curing agent mixture via dripping on to substrate(s) and bake at 100 °C for 30 min to cure the coating.
l After machining, immerse in 85 °C water and apply ultrasonic cleaning for 10 min to remove the coating from the substrates.
