Heat Activated Adhesive TY-6638N
Brief Introduction:
TY-6638N is oil-based one-component PU adhesive. It is widely applied to foam, leather etc PU products. It is also be used the adhesion of textile fabric, wood, PVC, ABS and other materials.
Application:
1. This product is quick-drying adhesive, the adhesive can be sticked by heating to melt after the adhesive layer is dried. (the recommended mold temperature is 180ºC). The bonding product can be stripped after being heated.
2. This product is suitable for knife coating, roller coatin or spraying coating. The gun caliber should be 1.3-2.0mm and the pressure should be greater than 4kg, depending on different demands.
3. If the product viscosity is too large, the appropriate amount of ketone solvents or robber cement can be added for dilution.
4. The gun should not be closed to the adhered. Meanwhile, it should not be far from the adhered to avoid the glue forming strings in the air. The recommended distance is 25cm-50cm.
5. If the higher adhesion strength or better heat resistance is required, 2%-5% isocyanate curing agent (60% content) can be added. It can not be reduced after adhesion.

Safety Measures:
TY-6638N is in compliance with the general chemical protection measure. Keep good ventilation in working environment, wear appropriate skin protection device and goggles in the process of use. If the skin contacts with this product, wash the skin with water and soap. If this product contacts with eyes, wash the eyes with plenty of water. In case of severe case, immediately seek for medical advice.
Storage and Transportation:
Avoid strong collision and sudden heat in well-sealed packaging. Be stored in a cool dry place. Keep it away from fire. The appropriate storage temperature should be above 5ºC in winter. This product will be crystallized below 0ºC. It can be used after being heated and stirred.
