B) Application
YMCA type of terpolymer resin can be applied in the coating and adhesive possessing high solid content, plastic and metal overprinting varnish, metal corrosion resistant coating, maintenance lacquer, repair lacquer, vessel and marine lacquer, rolling material coating, spray paint for plastic shell, interlamination coating, can coating, aluminium foil varnish, heat-transfer printing gum, transfer printing ink, electronic-chemical aluminum coating, PTP aluminum foil glue(VC glue), glue for covering steel sheet with film, PVC glue, shoe material glue, EVA treatment agent, UV primer etc.
C) Solubility & Compatibility
For YMCA type of terpolymer resin, ketone solvents are specially suited, such as acetone, MEK, nadone and isophorone. Compared with ketone solvents, ester solvents have lower solubility for YMCC resin, such as methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate, Therefore, we need to heat the solution or add ketone solvents into the solution while YMCA resin is dissolved in ester solvents. Chlorohydrocarbons, Nitro compound and alicyclic solvents, such as dichloroethane and diethylene oxide, also can dissolve YMCA terpolymer resin, but these kinds of solvent are toxic, they are only used in special situation.
YMCA type of terpolymer resin is miscible with other resins during the course of usage, such as other types of vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymer, PVC resin, perchloro-ethylene resin, ketone resins, chloroprene rubber, NBR, polyacrylate, epoxy resin, polyester and petroleum resin etc.
D) Pigment & Stuffing
Most of pigments and stuffing can be used with YMCA terpolymer resin, such as titanium dioxide, chromium oxide green, carbon black, chrome yellow, barite, mica powder, talcum powder, calcium carbonate etc. We have to be extremely careful when use zinc, cadmium and ferric oxide as the pigment, because they have catalysis at the high temperature for the decomposition reaction of vinyl chloride vinyl acetate copolymers.
E) Stability
YMCA resin has excellent light and heat stability, but when it is used outdoors or at higher temperature, the following stabilizers are suggested to use with it, such as organotin stabilizer without sulphur, epoxy compound stabilizers and light resistant ultraviolet stabilizer.
F) Packaging and Storage
YMCA resin is usually packaged according to 25Kgs per bag, which is the craft paper-plastic composite bag lined with plastic film.
YMCA resin should be stored in cool and dry place away from sunlight. Any queries on technology or quality assurance can be inquired to our company.
