WISHBONE table system a Knock-Down system!
Brilliant idea! __ that is the reaction we had from visitors at our booth at the Guangzhou Fair last March.
Our team was brain storming trying to come up with a new and innovative table system. Our designer Ulf Rø Geberg was asked to apply his skills and come up with something unique. Sketches were flying backs and forth between Denmark and China until we finally decided upon what now is named the WISHBONE table series.
We believe we have something unique and in addition it is a Knock-Down system. The legs are made of high tensile steel, with a brushed chrome surface or a powder coated surface. The brushed chrome surface looks and feels like stainless steel.
As the WISHBONE table system is a knock-down system, we are able to deliver a complete table frame in a very small box including necessary assembling tools and manual making the assembly very easy for the customer.
The WISHBONE system is suitable for private homes and can be used as meeting tables and office tables. The series include coffee tables and bar tables and due to its flexibility, we can deliver a number of different configurations to meet most of our customer's requirements such as L-shaped office tables and executive desks.
Simplicity is the key word to this product. It is one of the essential qualities we see in a number of Scandinavian designs. We have a lot to learn from that part of the design world and we are very happy to have a designer on our team born and brought up in Norway now living and working in Denmark.
The UR-Design company was started as an independent company by George Lee & Ulf Rø Geberg after many years in the furniture business. The company has its focus on Scandinavian styling and offers customized designs for offices and private homes with the majority of the production taking place in mainland China.
