Brief introduction of the wood pellet mill
This serious of wood pellet mill are mainly used for making the wood pellets applies for raw material like wood waste or agricultural waste, such as corn/wheat/rice straw, coffee/peanut shell, etc. The pellets are used as fuels in electricity-generating and water heating in power plant industry, boiler factories, etc.
They adopt the imperative feeding device, reinforced conveyed parts, dedicated ring die, compression roller and hoop.
Working principle of the Feed Pellet Machine
The main parts are made of alloy steel to be quite strong and malleable.
The main shaft and flat die in the effect of friction drive the compression roller rotating itself. The temperature will rise between the compression roller and mould disk, then the high temperature will ripen the starch, make the protein denaturation and solidification. Finally the raw materials will discharged from the mould holes. Then the pellets can be get out of the machine through the throwing disk. We can control the length of the pellets according to adjust the angle of cutting knives.

Raw material input size and moisture content
Raw material for the pellet mill must have passed through sufficient size reduction beforeit can be placed in the pellet mill. The raw material must have a particle size of 3-5mm or below. To produce quality pellets with a good mechanical durability, the raw material must have consistent moisture content of between on average 12-20 %.
