Zinc is a bluish white crystal. It has strong anti-corrosion. It is mainly used in galvanization and manufacturing of all kinds of alloys, galvanization industry, especially in the manufacturing of car hoods and galvanized sodium sheet which occupies a percentage of 45% in the worldwide zinc consumption and 19% in the domestic market. The use of zinc oxide in China is the widest with a percentage of about 24.5%. Zinc and copper can be melt into brass, which is the traditional application of zinc. Brass is regarded as a high-function alloy. It can be used in many traditional methods such as casting, rolling, extrusion forging and hot-pressure moulding. Therefore, zinc is the third widely-used nonferrous metal. Because of its particular physical and chemical property, it is widely used in electronics, industries, and construction, etc.
