China imported 45,812 tons of sugar in August this year

Dow Jones News, according to Beijing this week, two Chinese General Administration of Customs data released in August this year, China imported 45,812 tons of sugar, 106,373 tons over last year 57% decline in imports. Data show that 1-8 months of this year China imported 909,029 tons of sugar compared with same period last year 39%. 1-8 months last year, China imported 645,556 tons of sugar, down 21%. In July this year, imports of sugar from 21,910 tons last year soared to 132,982 tons.
