Dynasty Sparkling Wine is made from Chardonnay and Italian Riesling grown in the coastal region of Tianjin by applying French Champagne-making technology.
The first fermentation is in tank (or barrel), and the second fermentation is in flask, then the wine is stored inside flasks for over 2 years.
The wine has a bright and crystal-clear appearance, sharp, fruity, perfect and refreshing in taste, solid and full bodied in character that found in good French Champagne. Poured into a glass, it yields a chain of clear, fine, rising small bubbles which will remain for some time in the glass. The carbon-dioxide pressure in the bottle is between 3.5-5.5 kg/sq cm.
Established in 1980, Sino-French Joint Venture Dynasty Winery Ltd. is one of the Chinese foreign joint ventures ever set up the earliest in China and is also the first such joint ventures in Tianjin. The Joint-Venture between Grapery of Tianjin, China; Remy Martin Group of French and INTTRA of Hong Kong. The joint-venture brought in the most advanced wine-making skills, technology and facilities, which in turn gave birth to the Dynasty grape wine series, wines that fully conform to international standards and possess a distinctive European flavour. The winery was founded based on the famous Vineyard of Bohai Bay in Tianjin where is the Dynasty high quality products derives from.
At present, the Dynasty Company has become the largest whole juice winery in Asia. The turnover of Dynasty Winery in 2004 is over one hundred million US dollars and continue to hold the Title of Biggest Sales Volume of Whole Grape Juice Wine in Chinese domestic market, simultaneously dynasty wine enlarged exportation to the other countries of Asia, Europe and North America. Furthermore, Dynasty Company listed its shares on Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearring Limited (HKEx) on 27 January 2005 successfully.
