Ion-Exchange Membrane (KOH)
Properties: White or bluish white flakes. It is deliquescent and absorbs water vapor from the air. It forms potassium carbonate upon the absorption of carbon dioxide. Potassium hydroxide releases heat upon dissolution in water and becomes a strong alkali solution; Highly corrosive.
Uses: Applications in the industry of potassium salts, dyeing, electroplating, compound fertilizers, synthetic fibers, plastics, alkaline batteries, pharmaceutical intermediates, food additives, cosmetics, etc.
Package: Solid potassium hydroxide flakes are packaged multi-layered polypropylene bag coupled with a thin interior polyethylene bag. Net content is 25 kg or 50 kg. Liquid potassium hydroxide is packaged in glazed steel/stainless steel tanks or high density polyethylene plastic tanks
