2. APPLICATIONS AND FEATURES

The machine is suitable for large batch and single production of cylindrical gears and worm gears. The inverse milling or milling can be used when machining cylindrical gears. It can adopt pure axial feed (vertical feed) for processing the tooth width. It also can be started at entry using manual radial feed method cut to a desired depth, and then turn on the axial feed, cutting complete tooth width. In the axial feed cutting after complete tooth width, the machine, Ann preset position, automatic parking.

In batch processing of the same specifications of cylindrical gears, the central distance between worktable and hob should be precisely adjusted. After finishing first gear, move knob 17(see figure 3), so that the worktable exit driven by the rapid rolling cylinder, remove the processed gear, load gear embryo, revert the tool head to the original position with fast axial motor, move the knob 17, move the worktable forward driven by the hydraulic rapid cylinder. At this moment, the worktable return precisely to position of cutting the first gear, then the second gear can be cut. So when process gears of same specifications, adjust the machine precisely only when cut the first gear. Only when the machine tool wears to influence precision, the center distance between worktable and hob should be adjusted once again.

When hob ordinary worms, manual radial feed method is adopted. In the machining of globoid worm gear, operate handle to separate from the vertical feed. With manual radial feed method, machined to the required center distance, use handle 1 connect the feed movement, and through a differential mechanism to realize circumferential feed of hobbing spherical worm gear. Reverse of circumferential feed can be achieved by changing position of axial feed gear.

This series of products for the Y3180E ordinary gear hobbing machine, under normal circumstances, machining accuracy can be achieved in standard 7 class provided by JB179-60. Y3180E as an accurate machine, machine tool use and maintenance should be made according to the relevant provisions of attention. Under normal circumstances, machining accuracy can be achieved in standard 6 class provided by JB179-60.
