Description
A6025 is a partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide with high molecular weight supplied as a free flowing granular powder.
Principal Uses
A6025 has found application in a wide variety of operations including
the following:
1. Used in oilfield as drilling fluid.
2. Sedimentation of platinum slimes.
3. Tailing waste water treatment.
4. Mining waste water treatment.
5. As superplasticier in concrete as water reduce.
6. Textile,Cogeneration plant waste water treatment.
7. Sedimentation of coal washing, iron sand TiO2 separation.
8. as soil conditioner in agriculture to stabilize soil against erosion.

Dosage depends on application but normally lies in the range 5  200 g/tonne of dry substrate
flocculated.

PAM dissolving method and notes:

PAM is an organic polymer with high molecular weight, its dissolving methods are different compared to inorganic flocculants, here are the specific guidelines:

1. The PAM dry powder should not be directly used, it shall be dissolved to water solution of a certain concentration to guarantee its efficiency.

2. The flocculent concentration is 1‰, i.e. dissolve 1g of powder into 1L of water. First, add the powder in a small amount of water to dissolve it all, and then add the required amount of water. This is because the polymers dissolve faster in higher concentration.

3. The exact steps to dissolve the polymer are: 

Add a certain amount of water in the dissolution tank , stir it while adding the powder into the whirlpool. The spinning speed must be around 200 rpm to avoid lumps. It canbe dissolved within one hour.

4. Tap water can be used to dissolve the PAM. Heating the water or working in an alkaline solution (pH 8-9) can accelerate the dissolution. 

Beware: the water temperature cannot exceed 50Centigrade as  it might cause er polymer degraded, ruining the wanted result.

4. The PAM dry powder can be stored in a cool & dry place for 2 years. However, after having been dissolved, it could only be stored for 24 hours.
