Spiral Wound Gasket
Description: Spiral wound gaskets consist of a V-shaped metal strip spirally wound in combination with a soft, filler material. The metal strip provides outstanding resilience, while the flexible filler gurantees excellent sealing.
Construction:SWG are semi-metallic gaskets owing to their special construction.？ SWG are available in four type:basic,with an inner ring, with an outer ring, and with both inner and outer ring.
Application: SWG is suitable for using in piping flanges, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc., in various industries, especially as gasket for high temperature, high-pressure steam, and for LNG, etc. at cryogenic temperature.
