MCC,short for Microcrystalline Cellulose is purified, slight depolymerization cellulose.It is white,tasteless, odourless ,and it is crystalline powder made of porous particle. MCC is straight chain polysaccharide linked about 3000-10000 Glucose by β-1,4-glucoside ,used as ion exchange separation medium. It is insoluble in ethanol, water, acid and dilute alkali. It is mainly used in the separation and purification of protein, nucleic acid, polysaccharide, ezemy, tissue cell and pigment.
