When an area to be used for siting a tank has restricted access (eg doorway or hatch) and therefore a one piece tank could not get access, the only solution left is a tank made from panels and sealed, bolted and assembled in the area once through the restricted access, this allows for a tank with a larger storage capacity to be used in the same area and can be far greater than the access into the area will allow. Made from GRP tank panels usually 1000*1000mm the panels can be easily moved into position and assembled into a tank by our team of specialists within the area with only 500mm space around the tank.

Sectional Tanks are available plain or with insulation, and are constructed from a number of GRP panels that are bolted and sealed together on site, these tanks can be completely internally flanged only requiring as little as 50mm around the tank to assemble, also tanks that are externally flanged with either internal or external flanged base, all sectionals come complete with sectional lid and Inspection hatch, Sectional tanks with internal bases require a flat fully supporting base where as an externally flanged based sectional can be assembled on pillars or RSJ 's that are all the same level and flat but must be a minimum of 500mm off the floor.

SMC plug-in water tank is a new type of products widely used across the world. It is developed by the Glass Re-enforced Plastics Research Institute under the National Building Materials Bureau, and designed by Beijing Institute of Architectural Design. The tank tackles the problems with heavy weight, leakage, and moss covering in concrete tanks, as well as corrosion and water pollution caused by dropped antirust coat in steel sheet tanks. It boasts high water quality, no leakage, light weight, pleasant appearance, long service life, and convenient installation. The product is supported by the 7th Five Year Key Programs for Science and Technology Development, and is a popularization project during the 8th Five Year period. 

SMC plug-in water tank is applicable to public buildings such as public institutions, residential houses, hotels, restaurants, and schools. It can also serve as an indispensable storage facility for domestic water, fire water and quality water used by food, medicine, health, culture, and crop farming industries.

Product Features

High-performance materials of resin and glass fiber are used to guarantee the product quality. 

It uses special sealing strips and bolted connection for easy assembling. It is water and air tight. The internal tension -rod structure makes high mechanical property.

Standard molded pressure plates are good for free assembling without hoisting operations. The physical form and holding capacity are easy to meet customers need. 

The ratio of holding capacity to the deadweight is 1:0.1-0.2 (for concrete tank, the ratio is 1:1). The deadweight of SMC molded water tank is negligible during the design process. 

It can prevent the water supply from the secondary pollution in that no algae or blood worms 

will grow.

It can be washed every 6 months and the cleaning cost decreases.
